General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy held an operational meeting, where, among other production issues, the implementation of the new legislation on systemically important territorial grid organizations (STGO), which came into force on 1 September of this year, was discussed. In accordance with the law, the status of a systemically important territorial grid organization is assigned to the largest TGO in the region based on the criteria approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.
20 branches of the energy company have been recognized as STGOs in the regions of presence - the relevant decisions have been made by the highest officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Work is underway to regulate interaction with existing TGOs: concluding agreements on the procedure for using assets and transferring municipal and regional assets to STGOs. From 1 January 2025, Rosseti Centre will become a systemically important TGO in the territory of its operational responsibility for a period of 5 years.
“Rosseti Centre has confirmed its compliance with the STGO criteria in 20 regions of our presence. This is a great responsibility and a logical systemic step. We have the necessary competencies and experience to work in this area. The creation of a single responsibility centre will allow us to provide citizens with high-quality and reliable electricity at a high level, apply a common technical and operational policy and accelerate the implementation of modern technologies in the electric grid complex”, noted Igor Makovskiy.
