10.09.2024

Based on compliance with the criteria for classifying territorial grid organizations as systemically important territorial grid organizations and in accordance with the Rules for determining systemically important territorial grid organizations, approved by Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of 28 August 2024 No. 1159, all 20 branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region have been defined as systemically important territorial grid organizations (STGO) for a period of 5 years. Information on the adoption of relevant decisions is posted on the official websites on the Internet of executive bodies in the field of state regulation of tariffs and senior officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Assigning the STGO status to the branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region will formalize the formation of a single centre of responsibility for reliable energy supply, will allow for the implementation of a common technical and operational policy and will accelerate the introduction of modern technologies in the electric grid complex in the territories of the companies’ operational activities. The STGOs will be responsible for implementing the one contact function for consumers of electricity transmission services and energy sales organizations, operating ownerless electric grid facilities and eliminating large-scale failures in the grids of other territorial grid organizations (TGOs) by decision of the regional reliability headquarters.
