Based on the results of the publication of the unaudited interim condensed consolidated financial statements for 3 months of 2021 under IFRS, the management of Rosseti Centre (the public name of IDGC of Centre, PJSC, the ticker — MRKC) — managing organization of Rosseti Center and Volga Region (the public name of IDGC of Center and Volga Region, PJSC, the ticker — MRKP) together with Sova Capital held a conference call to webcast a presentation dedicated to the performance results of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region for 3 months of 2021. Rosseti Centre at the event was represented by First Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance Artem Aleshin and Head of IR Division Sergey Ternikov. During the dialogue with investors, the main production and financial results of the Companies for the 1st quarter and updated forecasts of the management for 2021 were presented, as well as answers to all the questions received were given.
At the end of 3 months of 2021, the Companies continue to increase their production potential in connection with the active implementation of investment and production programs that contribute to improving the efficiency and reliability of the operation of the power grid complex in the regions of presence. There is a significant increase in the volume of electricity transmission services in the territories of operation of both Companies, which is largely due to the low base of the last year, as well as the significant positive influence of climatic factors of the current year. Separately, an emphasis was placed on reducing the relative losses of electricity with an increase in physical volumes of sales, which additionally had a favourable effect on the final financial result. The Companies continue to work hard to develop value-added services, using existing competencies and creating conditions for increasing the efficiency of available resources.
Artem Aleshin noted that the operational data for April and May allow us to look optimistically into the near future and hope for maintaining positive changes in the main economic indicators for the year.
