04.08.2020

Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region summed up the results of the repair program for the first half of the year. The company carries out a number of key activities of the document ahead of schedule.

6,654 transformer substations were repaired (with the plan from the beginning of the year at 6,486). 23,678 kilometres of overhead and cable power lines were repaired (the plan is 23,671). To counteract emergencies associated with falling trees and their debris on power lines, 17,431 hectares of routes of overhead lines were cleared and 262 hectares were expanded (the plan is 16,030 hectares and 216 hectares, respectively).

“We are aimed at ensuring, regardless of external factors, timely and full implementation of all the measures of the repair program. This will allow us at the highest professional level to solve the key task for the power engineers - to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the power grid complex, high-quality and reliable power supply to consumers in 20 regions of the country in the autumn-winter period,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.

The main activities of the repair program start at the end of the next autumn-winter period, when it becomes possible to decommission a significant part of the equipment that needs repair, and are completed by the end of September. Their main volume falls on the summer. At a number of large and significant facilities, work has already been completed or is close to completion. Thus, specialists of “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo” completed the repair of a high-voltage power transmission line of 35 kV “Vostochnaya Left, Right”, the reliable operation of which depends on the power supply of 17 settlements of the Yeletsky district with a population of more than 17 thousand people, including a number of large facilities - the Yeletsk distance power supply OJSC “Russian Railways”, “Yeletsky ore-dressing mine” LLC, OJSC “Yeletsky machine-building plant”, “Kamenny quarry Golikovo” LLC, OJSC “Yeletsky gormolzavod”. Also, this line feeds correctional labour colonies in the city of Yelets. During the repair, the power engineers replaced 6 damaged intermediate poles, cleared 3.1 hectares of the line route from vegetation.

At present, Lipetskenergo’s specialists continue to repair one of the most significant power facilities in the city of Lipetsk - the 110 kV substation “GPP-2”. Completion of the work is scheduled for the end of August. As a result, the reliability of power supply will be ensured for 22 thousand residents of the regional centre, a number of socially significant and large industrial enterprises, including the Lipetsk plant of caterpillar tractors, which produces equipment for the armed forces of Russia and other countries, as well as facilities of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, which is one of the three largest metallurgical enterprises of the country.

In the Kirov region, comprehensive work was carried out at large supply centres of 110 kV “Yaransk” and 110 kV “Demyanovo”, from which a total of 45 settlements with a population of more than 12 thousand people were supplied, as well as a number of socially significant facilities. Current repair and overhaul of the equipment of these substations will improve the reliability and quality of power supply to the population of the Podosinovsky and Yaransky districts of the Kirov region.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 200 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV power lines and 11 transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV have been repaired in the Votkinsky district and the city of Votkinsk of the Udmurt Republic. Repair of sections of 10 kV overhead lines in the villages of Svetloye, Pervomayskoye, Kivary, Iyulskoye was completed. In the Orel region, in June, a power transformer was repaired at the 110/35/10 kV “Kommash” substation in the city of Mtsensk, which supplies the eponymous enterprise for the assembly of municipal and aviation equipment and the adjacent territory with settlements. Power equipment was also repaired at the 35/10 kV “Mokhovoye” substation in the Zalegoschensky district, which ensured the reliability of power supply to residents of the village of the same name.

In the Vladimir region, thanks to the comprehensive work performed at large supply centres - the 110 kV “Bazovaya” substation and the 110 kV “Undol” substation, the reliability of power supply to 4.5 thousand people of the Sobinsky and Petushinsky districts, as well as a number of large industrial enterprises such as the confectionery factory “Ferrero Rusia” and the producer of feed and feed additives for agricultural animals and poultry “De Hyos”.

In the Smolensk region, power engineers in June began work at the 110/35/10 kV “Kardymovo” substation - the main feeding centre of the urban-type settlement of Kardymovo, where more than 4.6 thousand residents live. The substation also supplies power to Baltenergomash LLC, an enterprise producing package transformer substations and components for them. Repairs are carried out to improve the reliability and quality of power supply to these consumers, as well as in the preparation of the regional grid complex for the upcoming autumn-winter period and will be completed at the end of July.

In total, during the year, the power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region are planning to overhaul 12.2 thousand transformer substations and 47 thousand kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead power lines (Conductors). The equipment will be repaired at power centres with a voltage class of 35-110 kV. 31.2 thousand hectares of routes of overhead power lines will be cleared of trees and shrubby vegetation. In general, 11.6 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the repair program.
