Despite the difficult weather conditions, specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Smolenskenergo” restored power supply to residents of the Smolensk region powered through the 6-10 kV grid.
Please, be reminded that due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions in the Smolensk region, a powerful atmospheric front with a thunderstorm and strong wind passed through the territory of the branch “Rosseti Centre Smolenskenergo” in the evening, with some gusts reaching 15-20 m/s. The branch introduced a high-availability mode, mobilized forces and means of operating personnel, ready at any time to advance to a place of technological failures at facilities of the electric grid complex.
The bad weather caused a power outage in a number of eastern districts of the region. Currently, work is going on in local grids.
