Since the beginning of the year more than 1,000 Kurskenergo’s employees were trained and improved their skills

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” summed up the results of staff training for 11 months of 2019. More than 1,000 employees were given the opportunity to undergo vocational training and improve their skills.

Among them, 280 power engineers received new knowledge at the Training Centre for operating personnel of Kurskenergo. 810 employees underwent professional retraining on the basis of the Kursk Regional Centre for Training and Retraining of Housing and Public Utilities Personnel. 103 employees of the branch were trained in safe methods and techniques for performing work at heights, 80 people in the field of labour protection, 62 employees improved their qualifications in the fire-technical minimum when conducting fire and fire hazardous operations, 20 people received training in the program “Modern dispatch control technologies of power lines and equipment of a grid company in the digital transformation conditions”.

Including, more than 300 employees received a second profession: aerial platform and hydraulic lift operator, slinger, logger, lift operator, etc.

“In the context of the implementation of the Concept for the digital transformation of the region’s electric grid complex, the process of continuous training, the acquisition of new competencies and knowledge, and further training of employees is especially important,” stresses Lyudmila Mokrousova, the head of the human resources department at Kurskenergo. “To solve these problems, we work closely with specialized local and federal educational institutions.”

By the end of the year, more than 250 Kurskenergo’s employees will have the opportunity to receive training.
