IDGC of Centre, PJSC held public hearings on the Sustainability Report for 2016-2017

IDGC of Centre held public hearings on the Sustainability Report of the Company for 2016-2017 (hereinafter – the Report).

Such a report was prepared by IDGC of Centre for the first time and reflects the awareness of the Company of its responsibility for the impact of the decisions made and the operations carried out on society and the environment. The Report includes key information on the results achieved by the Company as part of its social and environmental policy, as well as interaction with all stakeholders.

The hearings were attended by Inna Gromova, Deputy General Director for HR Management and Organizational Design, Olga Kharchenko, Director for Corporate Governance, Natalia Loganova, Head of Economics Department, Svetlana Secret, Head of Customer Relations Department, Sergey Ternikov, Head of IR Division, and Victor Ablezgov, Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of IDGC of Centre of the All-Russian Power Engineers’ Trade Union, as well as representatives of expert, audit and business communities.

The moderator of the hearings was Andrey Kozhevnikov, CEO of LLC Zebra – Public Relations.

At the beginning of the discussion, Olga Kharchenko noted the high importance of the public hearings held to further improve the Company’s performance in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainability and highlighted the stages of preparing the Report, its material topics, the Company’s selected strategic priorities and plans for the future development period. The sounded report emphasized the compliance of the presented reporting with the provisions of the Russian legislation and the requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, including those applicable to companies in the electric utilities sector.

The participants of the public hearings expressed their comments and suggestions, after which, summing up the discussion, they positively assessed the significance and completeness of the information disclosed in IDGC of Centre’s Report.

Upon completion of the assurance process, IDGC of Centre confirmed its intention to continue to follow the principles of socially responsible business conduct and expressed willingness to take into account the recommendations made when creating the next report on the Company’s sustainable development activities.
