IDGC of Centre together with IDGC of Centre and Volga Region took part in the "Utilities Day" conference

In the framework of the "Utilities Day" conference, organized by the financial group BCS, IDGC of Centre’s management, together with IDGC of Centre and Volga Region’s management, held a group meeting with representatives of URALSIB AM, CentroCredit Bank, BCS and other investment companies. The conference was also attended by major Russian electric utilities: PJSC Rosseti, PJSC MOESK, PJSC Enel Russia, RusHydro and Gazprom Energoholding LLC.

In the course of the conversation, both companies presented their results for 9 months of 2017. The meeting discussed issues of increasing operational efficiency and problems of current tariff regulation. Particular attention was paid to prospects for further development of the companies after the transfer of functions to the sole executive body. Adviser to General Director Sergey Rumyantsev noted that the current results confirm the effectiveness of such a management tool for achieving the tasks assigned to the Russian grid complex. He stressed that this measure was aimed at increasing the production and financial efficiency of both companies, reducing transaction costs and providing reliable power supply to all categories of customers. In the final part of the dialogue with the representatives of the investment community, the representatives of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region answered the most acute questions facing the grid companies and commented on the main parameters of their approved Business Plans for 2017.
