In 2016 IDGC of Centre reduced receivables by half a billion rubles

14.03.2017

IDGC of Centre continues to reduce receivables for electricity transmission services. The company implements a set of measures for the repayment of debts, both in cooperation with authorities of the regions of its service area, using the potential of commissions set up at the initiative of PJSC "Rosseti" to monitor settlements with electricity companies, and in the framework of ongoing claims and lawsuits.

The measures taken bring results. Following the results of 2016, IDGC of Centre managed to reduce the total amount of accounts receivable by 488 million rubles. The volume of overdue undisputed accounts receivable decreased by 1.3 billion rubles.

The claim-related activity gave significant results. In 2016, the company achieved positive judgments in 467 court cases for a total amount of claims of 2.454 billion rubles. Based on the results of these decisions, execution orders amounting to 1.557 billion rubles were received, of which up to the end of the last year 1.096 billion rubles were already repaid.

The constructive position of IDGC of Centre greatly contributed to the fact that the opportunity to fulfill its payment obligations to the company was taken by a number of electricity suppliers of last resort in the regions - this category of consumers accounts for the bulk of the debt. More than 2 billion rubles of the overdue accounts receivable of Atomenergosbyt JSC (over 75% of the total amount) were reduced by the end of the year, which performs the functions of the suppliers of last resort in three regions of IDGC of Centre’s service area: the Kursk, Smolensk and Tver regions, and at the beginning of 2016 it was its largest debtor. One of the largest independent sales companies of Russia PJSC GC "TNS Energo", which is the supplier of last resort in the Voronezh and Yaroslavl regions, reduced its overdue accounts receivable by 155 million rubles.

The positive tendency to reduce the receivables of IDGC of Centre remains at the beginning of 2017. So, in January, its amount decreased by 459 million rubles, including the debt of suppliers of last resort declined by 395 million rubles.

IDGC of Centre intends to continue to work consistently to recover accounts receivable, using for this purpose all opportunities provided by the current legislation. At the same time, the company remains open for a constructive dialogue with regard to working out effective mechanisms for its repayment, taking into account the current macroeconomic situation and, in some cases, the actual financial capabilities of its counterparties.
