17 February the VII Annual Seminar for employees of services on interaction with shareholders and investors of the Group of Companies "Rosseti" was held in Moscow.
The seminar traditionally serves as a platform for the discussion of topical issues in the field of interaction with shareholders and investors, summing up the work and identifying key areas for coordinated corporate governance activities.
The event was attended by experts of the financial market. In the panel session of the seminar Economic Advisor of the Department of admission to the financial market of the Bank of Russia Pavel Filimoshin presented an overview of legislative changes in the part of safeguarding the shareholders’ rights. Executive Director of Non-Profit Partnership "Investor Relations & Financial Communications Alliance" Stanislav Martyushev considered modern requirements for the preparation and content of the annual report and offered the best international practices of corporate reporting preparation. An expert in the field of investor relations, Director of IR-practice of the consulting company CJSC "EMCO" Pavel Kim talked about the features of interaction with shareholders and investors of a public holding company.
Welcoming the participants of the seminar, Deputy Director General for Corporate Governance Yury Goncharov noted the importance of such meetings for development of a common policy in the field of interaction with the investment community and corporate governance, and for the exchange of practical experience.
