18.09.2024

General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy, together with Acting First Deputy Governor of the Kursk Region - Chairman of the Government of the Kursk Region Alexey Dedov, visited the fighters of the Rapid Deployment Group Vladimir Shapkov and Vladimir Lobanov, who were wounded in the line of duty and are currently undergoing treatment, in the Kursk Regional Hospital.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the power engineers with a drone while restoring power supply to the civilian population of the Kursk border area. The drone, having lost control due to the impact of electronic warfare, hit a hydraulic lift. As a result of the explosion, the specialists received shrapnel wounds of varying severity. They were saved from more serious injuries by bulletproof vests and self-defense. Kursk doctors quickly provided the victims with the necessary assistance and provided treatment. Thanks to their care, the lives and health of the power engineers are not in danger.

Alexey Dedov thanked the company’s employees for their courage and conscientious work and presented them with the Governor’s awards - the Medal “For Services to the Kursk Region” of the 3rd degree, and Igor Makovskiy - memorable corporate gifts. The managers wished the specialists a speedy recovery and return to combat duty.

“We are proud that our company employs people for whom professional duty, honour and courage are not just words. They prove it with their daily work. Special words of gratitude - to Kursk doctors who in these difficult conditions are on the front lines together with our fighters, power engineers, the first to come to the rescue and save lives. This is a real feat! Thank you for your work!” said Igor Makovskiy.
