December, 2012 IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division was given the award for quality of Governor of the Kursk region in 2012

The basis of the evaluation of the companies — competitors for the award for quality of Governor of the Kursk region is the model and evaluation criteria of the European Quality Award and the RF Government Award for quality. These models, used for self-assessment of organizations, are a modern tool of focused innovation to improve performance and competitiveness.

The use of the self-assessment method allows the company to look at its operations from the perspective of an integrated approach to compare itself with the best organizations to identify areas where improvements are needed, to plan and implement these improvements.
The Expert Committee highly appreciated the work performed in IDGC of Centre and its branches on the introduction of modern management techniques and the results achieved.
The award for quality will provide IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division with an image of a leader in the region, a reliable supplier of high quality and competitive services, and will help to attract new partners and customers, increase market share, and thus open up new business opportunities.
June-July, 2012 Inspection (compliance audit)

The purpose of this audit was to confirm the integrity of the Company’s Management System and compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 international standard.

The audit of BSI (Certification Authority) has confirmed the effectiveness of proven business processes and business services.
The audit area: Executive Office of IDGC of Centre; IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division (including Oboyansky DEN); IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division (including Uvarovskiy DEN and Michurinsky DEN); IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division (including Lyubimsky DEN).
May, 2011 Inspection (compliance audit)

The purpose of this audit was to confirm the integrity of the Company’s Management System and compliance with standards in the period between recertification audits.

The audit of BSI (Certification Authority) has confirmed the effectiveness of proven business processes and business services. The audit area: Executive Office of IDGC of Centre; IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division (including Zhiryatinsky DEN); IDGC of Centre -Smolenskenergo division (including the city of Smolensk DEN, Khislavichsky DEN); IDGC of Centre -Tverenergo division (including Rzhevsky DEN, Zubtsovsky DEN).
May, 2010 Recertification audit of Quality Management System Extension of registration area
April, 2010 For the achievement of significant results in the field of quality following the results of 2009 Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Centre, JSC was awarded the diploma of the Council for the award of prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality.

The contest took place in two stages. At first the experts evaluated the submitted by the contestants’ materials. Organizations that received more than 250 points went into the second stage of the contest. The main purpose of the second stage was to test the objectivity of the submitted by the contestants’ materials on site.

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre presented their materials and received their objective analysis by the team of experts to assess the participants in the contest for the prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality.
Deputy Head of Integrated Management Systems Department of IDGC of Centre Pavel Madyuskin noted: “Our Company has first time participated in the contest for the prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality and immediately received a diploma. I am convinced that for us as beginners the receipt of the diploma is a high score”.
The participation in the contest will allow the Company to use the obtained expert advice for improving its management system based on international trends in quality, prioritize the development of electric grid utilities in the regions of the service area.
For reference:
In 2009, the 13th annual contest was held for prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality. More than ten years of its holding shows that the contest was a unique national program to promote best management practices to improve the stability of production and competitiveness of products. Russian organizations that participated in the contest have successfully applied the model award, harmonized with the model of the prestigious European Quality Award both in the period of the crisis in the 90s of last century and the recovery.
March, 2010 The Management Board approved the Report on the functioning of the QMS in 2009.
December,2009 IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division was marked with the second consecutive year diploma of the contest of the Yaroslavl Region "Best work in quality assurance".

Awarding was held on 1 December 2009 in the framework of the regional scientific and practical conference “Management and quality at the modern stage”.

Awards of the contest for quality are given for achievement of significant results in the system approach to improving the quality of products and services, ensuring their safety and competitiveness, in the implementation of modern technologies and management practices.
The annual contest in the field of quality in the Yaroslavl region has been held since 1994. Its participants are companies and organizations of various sectors, institutions, social services and education, non-governmental organizations of the region.
Yarenergo division being the Diploma winner of the contest gets the right to use in the documentation and promotional materials the title of “Quality Award Winner of the Yaroslavl region in 2009”.
Regional Quality Award is established by the Governor of the Yaroslavl region with a view to moral and material incentives and the general promotion of the best work for companies and organizations in the field of quality assurance and implementation of efficient methods for quality control.
November,2009 IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division became winner in the anniversary, tenth contest for quality conducted by the authorities of the Lipetsk region.

TThe aim of the contest is to promote the implementation of efficient management practices and improve the quality of products and services. Business excellence model underlying the Lipetsk contest is fully consistent with the model of the nationwide contest, but can also be used by enterprises to conduct a comprehensive self-assessment of their activities.

IDGC of Centre — Lipetskenergo division director Alexander Konanykhin noted:" Among the utilities of our region Lipetskenergo division is one of the first to apply modern management techniques. Implementing Quality Management System (QMS), project management system, matrix management system, automated enterprise resource management system SAP and other innovations, gives us the opportunity to share lessons learned with colleagues and partners".
October, 2009 Group of experts assessed the compliance of IDGC with the criteria for Award on the basis of contest Report and survey results on site, which is made in the executive office and two branches of Tverenergo division and Yarenergo division.

The contest Report of IDGC of Centre, which is submitted to be evaluated by experts, identifies the main priorities of the Company:

the role of Top Management in the work towards the development, implementation and continuous improvement of organization’s management system, working with customers, partners and representatives of the Company. In addition, it defines the policy and strategy of the organization in the area of quality, human resources, partnerships and processes undertaken by the organization to achieve customer satisfaction of product quality, influence of the organization on the society and the financial performance of the Company.
The result of the audit will be the resolution of the expert group on the extent of compliance under the criteria of the Prize, as expressed in the final score and recommendations for improvement.
August, 2009 Top Management of IDGC of Centre, in order to conduct an independent assessment of the current management system, has taken the decision to participate in the thirteenth annual contest for the award of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality. Routine surveillance audit of the quality management system
The purpose of the audit is the confirmation of conformity of the quality management system of the Company with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 subject to the provisions of ISO 10006:2003 “Guidelines for quality management in projects”.

Corrective actions based on discrepancies identified in previous audits have been tested and the effectiveness of their implementation has been confirmed.
The audit confirmed the effectiveness of the audited processes.

In November 2008, the International Standard ISO 9001:2008 was published (ISO 9001:2008), which replaced ISO 9001:2000. Changes in the standard are associated with a more profound explanation of the existing requirements of ISO 9001:2000 based on eight years of experience of implementing the standard worldwide. The changes are also designed to improve interoperability with the International standards ISO 14001:2004and OHSAS 18001:2007.

The action plan agreed by the International Organization for Standardization ISO and the International Accreditation Forum IAF on the certification of compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 is as follows:
— Certification of compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 is carried out after its publication;
— Certification for compliance with the national equivalent of the international standard ISO 9001:2008, i.e. in the Russian Federation — GOST R ISO 9001-2008 is carried out after the publication of the Russian standard;

Validity of ISO 9001:2008 certificates:
— A year after the publication of ISO 9001:2008 certification and recertification is conducted only for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
— Twenty-four months after the publication of ISO 9001:2008 all existing certificates of ISO 9001:2000 are considered invalid.

Full-scale audit of QMS functioning in  IDGC of Centre, JSC subsidiaries The audit purposes: estimation of  conformity of the Subsidiaries’ QMS and its elements to the requirements of ISO  9001 international standard (GOST R ISO 9001), to the internal requirements  developed and established by the Subsidiaries and to other planned actions;

- support of the Subsidiaries’ QMS in  working order;
 - reception of a  trustworthy information on the functioning of the Subsidiaries’ QMS;
- definition of possibilities of QMS development for the purpose of improvement of the Subsidiaries’ activity;
- check of elimination of the discrepancies revealed at previous audits,
- check of performance of corrective and preventive actions and other planned actions, and also estimation of their productivity.

Planned inspection audit of QMS
The audit is aimed to prove conformity of the quality management system of the Company with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 standard, taking into account the services of ISO 1006:2003 Quality Management at designing standard.

Corrective actions were checked up by results of the discrepancies revealed within the limits of the previous audits and the efficiency of their introduction was confirmed.
The audit confirmed productivity of the checked up processes. Insignificant discrepancies concern a separately revealed deviation, which in itself challenges the ability of QMS to operate effectively the corresponding processes
The plan of correcting and warning actions was developed and approved by order No 52 as of 29.02.2008.
December, 2007 Certification audit of Russian Project Management Association "SOVNET"
The programme and project management system underwent check on conformity with the rules and methodology of the International Project Management Association IPMA
Conformity of the  Programme and Project Management System with the  requirements was confirmed.
 Project Management
October, 2007 Inspection audit planned inspection check of conformity of QMS with  the services of ISO 10006:2003; 
Conformity of the Management System with the requirements of the Standard was confirmed.
The Ongoing Quality Commission developed actions for improvement of QMS according to recommendations of the given standard which became the basis of preparation of the Company with the certification on the level of technological maturity and work out of the Corporate Programme and Project Management Standard.

July, 2007 The Ongoing Quality Commission was established. The Ongoing Quality Commission (the "OQC") is a collegial body of IDGC of Centre, JSC for quality management and amendment of the quality management system in IDGC of Centre, JSC.
Main objective: delivery operational management of QMS.
July, 2007 Certification audit  of QMS
As a result of the certification audit, the Conformity of the Management System to Standard requirements was approved. 
By results of  estimation, three insignificant discrepancies were revealed for elimination of which  the corrective measures plan was worked out and approved by Order No 171as of 22.08.2007.
May, 2007 Start of the pilot project in JSC "Yarenergo" Work out and introduction of ecological management system according to the requirements of ISO 14001:2004  
March, 2007 Precertification audit of QMS: QMS of the Company  passed check of conformity to the requirements of  ISO 9001:2000 international standard (taking into account the requirements of ISO 10006:2003); Certification body by results of the audit gave  its opinion that QMS conforms to the requirements and is prepared to hold certification audit. By results of the estimation 11 insignificant discrepancies were revealed; for their elimination the correction plan was approved by  order No 81 as of 16.05.2007.
