Igor Artamonov and Boris Ebzeev discussed the development and preparation for the winter of the Lipetsk region’s electric grid complex

6 November 2025

A working meeting was held in Lipetsk between Lipetsk Region Governor Igor Artamonov and Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC. The main topics of discussion were the preparation of the branch of Rosseti Centre - Lipetskenergo for the 2025/2026 heating season, the implementation of the investment program, and the 2026 tariff campaign issues.

It was noted that the branch of Rosseti Centre - Lipetskenergo supplies electricity to an area of 24,000 square kilometres with a population of over 1.1 million. To reliably handle peak load periods, power engineers have completed all necessary equipment repairs and maintenance. Lipetskenergo’s winter readiness index is 99%.

The meeting participants noted that they would continue working together to develop the region’s electric grid and ensure conditions for stable power supply.

“It is important for us that the region’s electric grid develops at an accelerated pace. Large-scale projects, including industrial construction, are being implemented in the Lipetsk region, and uninterrupted power supply is a key factor for success. We recognize Rosseti Centre’s systematic work and responsible approach and look forward to a continued partnership,” noted Igor Artamonov.

“In the Lipetsk region, we are consistently addressing the challenges of grid modernization, automation of energy facility management, and asset consolidation. This will not only improve the reliability of the power supply, but also create capacity reserves for connecting new facilities,” stressed Boris Ebzeev.
“I am confident that working together with the regional government will ensure the necessary conditions for sustainable economic and social growth in the region.”
