Acting Head of the Tambov Region Evgeny Pervyshov held a working meeting with General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC Boris Ebzeev. The parties discussed the current state of the region’s electric grid complex, key areas of its modernization and plans for developing infrastructure to ensure reliable energy supply.
Particular attention was paid to the autumn-winter period of 2024/2025. Boris Ebzeev noted that the power engineers of the Tambovenergo branch ensured the readiness of the energy system for increased winter loads, having completed all the necessary preparatory work on time, including equipment repair and maintenance.
The parties reviewed investment projects for connecting new social and industrial infrastructure facilities in 2025. Among the largest are the Pyaterochka distribution centre on the territory of the industrial park in Kotovsk (2.5 MW); the steel plant in Michurinsk (64 MW); DTMK LLC (Doshirak) - flour production in Tambov (3 MW) and others.
In 2024, Tambovenergo was designated as a system-forming territorial grid organization, so a number of issues concerned the consolidation of electric grid assets to optimize grid maintenance and increase their reliability.
Special attention was paid to outdoor lighting projects. In the region, the company plans to equip sections of roads and a number of populated areas with outdoor lighting in 2025, as well as carry out a comprehensive modernization of outdoor lighting in Tambov.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working together to strengthen the energy security of the region.
“It is important for us that every resident of the Tambov region is confident in the stable operation of the energy system. Through joint efforts with Rosseti Centre, we are creating conditions for development of business, the social sphere and comfortable life for the population”, noted Evgeny Pervyshov.
