Winners of the VIII hockey tournament of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region were awarded in Tula

29 April 2022 On 29 April, the solemn closing ceremony of the VIII hockey tournament of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, dedicated to the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, took place.

Please, be reminded that the tournament was opened on 27 April by General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy, and the opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor - Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region Valery Sherin and the two-time Olympic champion, five-time world champion, Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR Alexei Kasatonov.

For three days, the teams of nine branches and the team of the trade union organization of Rosseti Centre competed on the hockey fields of the Tula region. In total, more than 200 people went to the ice. The teams, according to the draw, were divided into groups, after the games in which the two best teams fought for the main prize - the Tournament Cup. According to the results of the competition, Mikhail Shkolnikov from Tverenergo became the best forward, Denis Mishakin from Kalugaenergo became the best scorer, Sergey Rakhmanov from Tverenergo became the best defender, and Andrey Kurov from Tulenergo became the best goalkeeper. Maxim Kharlashkin from the Tulenergo branch was recognized as the most valuable player of the tournament.
The teams from the Kalugaenergo and Tulenergo branches took the second and third places in the hockey tournament. Gold was won by Tverenergo’s hockey team. The captain of the team received the cup of honour from Maria Lobkova, Chief Adviser of Rosseti Centre, PJSC, and Vitaly Akulichev, Deputy General Director for Digital Transformation of Rosseti Centre, PJSC, who, on behalf of the Head of the Companies Igor Makovskiy, congratulated all those present on a bright sports holiday: “The power engineers showed a high level of hockey training, proved their skills and, of course, pleased us, the fans, with an exciting game. From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate the winning team of our tournament and all its participants. All the best to you, success and bright victories ahead!”
