Igor Makovskiy held an interdepartmental meeting of the Headquarters for the work of power engineers in the border areas in conditions of increased terrorist threat

On 21 April, as part of a working trip to the border areas, Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, held a meeting of the Headquarters at the Belgorodenergo branch on ensuring reliable power supply to territories with a yellow level of terrorist threat and interagency cooperation.

The head of the energy company emphasized that the built and constructive dialogue with the divisions of the Russian Guard, the Federal Security Service and the Government of the region will make it possible to quickly receive and transmit information about any events, respond to them as quickly as possible, and prevent the occurrence of technological violations and interruptions in the energy supply of consumers.

In view of the recent increase in incidents in the border areas, Igor Makovskiy decided to implement additional measures aimed at increasing the level of personnel safety. Operating crews are provided with armoured specialized vehicles, as well as special protective kits, including bulletproof vests and helmets, the state of health of workers and their families living in the border area has been put under special control, and access control to power grid facilities has been strengthened.

At the end of the meeting, the directors of the Belgorodenergo, Kurskenergo, Bryanskenergo and Voronezhenergo branches reported on the operational situation in the border Distribution Zones, the implementation of organizational and engineering measures aimed at maintaining the stable operation of the power grid complex.

After the end of the work of the Headquarters, Igor Makovskiy awarded 17 employees of production organizations for the timely and high-quality implementation of measures to restore power grid facilities aimed at ensuring reliable power supply to consumers during the period of the emergency situation in the Belgorod region.

“Given the current situation, we need to anticipate possible threats and work proactively, take the necessary measures to ensure the reliability of power supply to consumers and the safety of our employees,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
