15 October 2021

On 15 October, within the framework of the Youth Day of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week”, a solemn awarding ceremony was held for the most authoritative dynasties in the electric power complex. The diplomas were presented by the Minister of Energy of Russia Nikolai Shulginov.

The project “Labour Dynasties - 100 Years in the Electric Power Industry” was initiated and implemented by the ERA of Russia Association with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the GOELRO Plan. The aim of the project was to summarize information about more than 300 dynasties in the electric power industry, whose cumulative work experience exceeds a century-old threshold.

The winner in the “Most Heroic Dynasty” nomination was the Novizentsevs dynasty, whose total length of service was 302 years. The founder of the dynasty, Sergey I. Novizentsev, in the distant 1932, began working at one of substations of the Schekino Distribution Zone of “Tulenergo”. Having devoted 27 years to the electric power industry, he retired from the post of the head of the Tula energy sales department.

The graduation ceremony was attended by three great-grandsons of Sergey Novizentsev, who also linked their lives with the Tula power industry. In total, 10 family members have chosen the profession of a power engineer. In addition to the diplomas, the organizers and partners of the project presented valuable gifts to the winners.

“Labour dynasties are the wealth of the team. Respect for work, hard work, rules of self-discipline are inherited in them. Devotion is in their blood. The history and life of the labour dynasties is tightly connected with the history and life of our industry. I sincerely congratulate the Novizentsevs family on their well-deserved reward, thank them for their many years of conscientious work and hope that their representatives will continue to work for the benefit of the energy complex, for the good of residents of the region,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
