Power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region are working in an enhanced mode in the Tver region

14 January 2021

Snowfall resumed in a number of districts of the region today, causing local blackouts in lines. Power engineers promptly carried out the transfer of forces and means and are now eliminating technological violations in power grids. In addition, the employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region are carrying out repair work on the lines that were most affected by the bad weather during the New Year holidays.

A total of 321 crews, 1,451 people and 452 vehicles, including from other regions, were involved in the restoration and repair work. To ensure energy supply to social facilities and settlements, reserve power sources are used.

Please, be reminded that due to the abnormally low air temperatures and snowfall, at the moment, the high alert mode operates in 16 regions of the companies’ presence, and in the Tver region there is a special mode of operation.

The companies’ contact centre and temporary information centres continue to operate in an enhanced mode. You can report power outages and noticed damage to power facilities by calling the single toll-free number at 8-800-220-0-220.
