Every year, several million children and adults take part in the event across the country. The social campaign will be held from August to October with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Rosmolodezh, the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, energy companies, cultural institutions and public organizations. Events of #VmesteYarche are included in the program of the Russian BRICS Chairmanship in 2020 and will be held in October in Moscow and Saransk.
Traditionally, the festival also hosts mass family city, district holidays. In the current year, due to possible restrictions on the distribution of coronavirus, decisions on holding a festival in the form of mass holidays will be made in each region, taking into account the epidemiological situation.
As Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Anton Inyutsin noted: “Now, taking into account the instructions of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the gradual lifting of restrictions, the regional organizing committees of the festival can begin more active preparation. To date, 73 regions have supported the holding of #VmesteYarche-2020. I invite energy companies and regional ministries together with youth and schools to join in such events as: the All-Russian theme week in schools “Ecology and Energy Saving”, “Dialogue on an equal footing” for students and youth, “Open Day at Fuel and Energy Complex Enterprises”, the Engineering Championship CASE-IN. Modern technologies based on social networks and on-line platforms allow, if necessary, many events, including quizzes and thematic lessons, guessing games, meetings with power engineers, contests, to be held on the Internet, including on the air.”
“On 15 May, the start was given to accept applications for the All-Russian contest of creative, design and research work of students #VmesteYarche, from the 1st of June it is planned to hold the All-Russian contest of flash mob in support of the festival and the All-Russian contest to create a new official song of the festival,” added Anton Inyutsyn.
As part of an interagency meeting on the promotion of fuel and energy complex among youth, energy conservation and engineering education, which took place at the Russian Energy Week in 2019, the agenda formed by youth was supported for 2020,” stressed Alexander Bugaev, the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. “An excellent example of such work, which began at the initiative of young people and gained an all-Russian scale, is the festival #VmesteYarche. I invite youth bodies, universities and schools to support the preparation of the project.

In 2019, the social campaign events #VmesteYarche were held in 1,500 municipal districts of the country and regional centres, including about 3.5 million schoolchildren, about 350 secondary special and higher educational institutions, and more than 100,000 preschool children participated in them.
