22 April 2020

On 22 April 2020, the head of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy and Governor of the Kirov region Igor Vasilyev discussed the region’s energy security. The working meeting was held in a videoconference mode.

Igor Makovskiy reported to the head of the region that the Kirov branch of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region is 100% fulfilling all the instructions of the regional headquarters for prevention of coronavirus infection. Work with clients is transferred to correspondence mode. Electricity issues are resolved by consumers in a remote format using online services. Close attention is paid to issues of maintaining the health of personnel who are on duty and are involved in ensuring the smooth operation of the energy complex.

“Both planned and immediate work is carried out using specific regulations dictated by time. But, despite this, all obligations for reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers are performed fully and on time. Particular attention is paid to the reliability of energy supply of important social and infrastructure facilities. The company timely implements preparations for the autumn-winter period. We are mobilized and ready for any tasks,” said Igor Makovskiy.

Please, be reminded that the task of ensuring such a clear and constant interaction between energy companies and constituent entities of the Federation was set by the head of Rosseti’s Group Pavel Livinskiy.

The head of the region Igor Vasilyev thanked the management of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region for the measures taken to ensure reliable energy supply to the region and the safety of the enterprise.

“We all perfectly understand that power supply is an important life support system that should work in any conditions. Without the coordinated work of power engineers, neither hospitals nor industrial enterprises will be able to work. Rosseti is an example for other enterprises how to organize safe and uninterrupted work,” Igor Vasilyev emphasized.

Governor also noted that despite the difficult epidemiological situation, it is necessary to think about the development of the electric power industry in the Kirov region. We are talking about the implementation of a number of long-term investment projects, including pilot ones.

“Regardless of the complexity of external conditions, we do not give up on our obligations,” Igor Makovskiy assured Governor.
