During a difficult epidemiological situation, specialists of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region took the supply of electricity to healthcare facilities under tight control. In the service area of the energy companies there are more than 200 infectious hospitals and wards and about 6,000 medical facilities designed to provide medical care to the population.
The subject of special attention of the power engineers is 15 observation points for those infected with the novel coronovirus, quickly deployed in the regions. In the Orel region, observation points operate on the basis of the ambulance hospital named after N.A. Semashko and the Kromsk Central District Hospital. Another observation point, based on the “Veterok” health camp, is in the final stages of deployment. In the Belgorod region, an observation point with 180 beds operates in the “Krasnaya Polyana” sanatorium in the Valuisky district, in the Bryansk region in the hospital for war veterans, in the Voronezh region at the “German settlement” recreation centre in the Ramonsky district.
Two observation points are deployed in Yaroslavl - patients are received at the city infectious hospital and clinical hospital No. 3, and in Tambov - at the “Centre for Interregional Relations” and the City Infectious Diseases Hospital. Two observation points also work in the Kirov region. In the Lipetsk region there is an observational department of the Dankov hospital. One observation point operates in the Kaluga and Vladimir regions and the Republic of Mari El. In addition, the power engineers supply electricity to the construction site of a modular infectious centre with 140 beds, which is being built in Nizhny Novgorod by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti’s Group of Companies, pointed to the importance of maintaining special control over the supply of electricity to medical institutions in the prevailing adverse epidemiological situation. All structural subdivisions of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region strictly comply with the instructions of the head of the group of companies.
“Today, medical facilities are at the forefront of the fight against the epidemic. Providing them with reliable and uninterrupted power supply, we contribute to the provision of quality medical care, the functioning of life support systems, on which today it largely depends on how quickly the disease can be defeated,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.
Please, be reminded that by the order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, to prevent the spread of viral infection, non-working days in Russia are extended until the end of April. In all branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, control over the operation of facilities of the electric grid complex has been strengthened. During non-working days to ensure reliable operation of the energy system of 20 regions of the country, there are 1,388 crews of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region on duty consisting of 4,325 people and 1,648 vehicles. They have at their disposal standby power supply sources, which can be used to temporarily supply power, primarily to socially significant facilities in the regions.
