Claims of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region satisfied by courts to recover debts for transmitted electricity in 2019 were 4.6 billion rubles

Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region continues systematic work to reduce receivables for electric power transmission services.

One of its most effective areas is the claim-related activity. According to operational data, at the end of 2019, the volume of claims of the companies satisfied by courts amounted to 4.6 billion rubles. 3.5 billion rubles of this amount are requirements to electricity suppliers of last resort in the regions. According to the decisions made to collect overdue debts, 0.4 billion rubles were repaid. (50% of the total amount that appears in the writs of execution).

As of 1 January 2020, the total receivables of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region for electric power transmission services amounted to 47.1 billion rubles, including 32.3 billion rubles in arrears, of which 29.1 billion rubles - overdue debts of suppliers of last resort. The companies intend to consistently perform the work on its recovery. As of 01.01.2020, 1,240 cases were pending before the courts of various instances, initiated by the legal unit of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, to collect debts totalling 38.2 billion rubles, including 756 cases totalling the amount of claims of 37.4 billion rubles regarding the suppliers of last resort.

“We take a comprehensive approach to the collection of receivables. Along with the claim work, with participation of the regional authorities, we are conducting an intensive negotiation process with our counterparties to resolve claims in the pre-trial procedure, both using the potential of the commissions to monitor settlements with electric power companies and as part of bilateral contacts. An active dialogue allows us to bring together settlement algorithms, stop the growth of disagreements and ultimately solve the problem as constructively and efficiently as possible,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
