Pavel Livinskiy in Ivanovo opened a new digital contact centre of Rosseti

24 December 2019

The new facility in a festive atmosphere was opened by the head of Rosseti’s Group of Companies Pavel Livinskiy and Governor of the Ivanovo Region Stanislav Voskresensky.

This is the second site of the company’s contact centre in the Central Federal District; the first was previously opened in Belgorod. The call centres’ operators will process incoming calls from consumers from 20 regions of the presence of Rosseti with a population of more than 25 million people. Now 144 people work in the contact centre in Ivanovo, the company plans to further expand the number of staff.

“With the opening of the site in Ivanovo, our consumers will see a significant improvement in feedback and the availability of services of electric grid companies in the regions,” Pavel Livinskiy expressed confidence. “Such projects contribute to an increase in the quality of life of our fellow citizens and create new jobs in different regions of the country.”

The key effect of the launch of the contact centre is a reduction in the response time to consumer requests and, as a result, an increase in the efficiency of eliminating technological violations in the electric grid complex.

During a visit to the call centre, Pavel Livinskiy and Stanislav Voskresensky were also presented with the project of “smart” outdoor lighting in the city of Kineshma, implemented as part of the energy service contract by the Ivenergo branch.

For less than a month and a half, in the second largest city in the Ivanovo region, all the lighting fixtures (more than 4.6 thousand) were upgraded - both on the main streets, including the Volga embankment, and in the private sector. 100 street lighting fixtures were mounted again. The project will save the city more than 2 million kilowatt-hours per year, that is, almost three times less money will be spent on lighting Kineshma than now.

As part of his visit to the Ivanovo region, Pavel Livinskiy familiarized himself with the work of the Ivanovo Distribution Zone, on the basis of which the first in the region “Digital Distribution Zone” will be created in 2020, talked with the staff of the enterprise, examined the Grid Control Center of the Ivenergo branch.

At the end of the visit, Pavel Livinskiy visited Ivanovo State Power Engineering University - the base site of the company for training specialists. The head of Rosseti was shown the “Digital Substation” Research and Education Centre (Training Centre), designed to study new equipment. Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, supported the university in the reconstruction of the laboratory premises.

A gift to the power engineering university from Rosseti’s Group of Companies on the day of the professional holiday, the Power Engineers’ Day, was an unusual sculpture, symbolizing the work of employees in the energy industry. The monument is a figure of a power engineer, including a street lighting fixture using the “Digital Electrician” tablet. The sculpture represents the practical application of digital technology in the power grid complex.
