On 2-5 October, Moscow will host the third Russian Energy Week International Forum. This year, the main topics of the largest industry event in Russia will be the digital transformation of the industry and pricing in the oil market, as well as the development of the coal market, nuclear energy, prospects for cooperation between fuel and energy enterprises and defense industry, and environmental transformation. The program of the event also includes the presentation of the OPEC countries report World Oil Outlook (WOO) 2019.
Representatives of authorities, leaders of the largest international energy companies, leading world experts will become participants in the REW-2019. As expected, the plenary session of the forum, the theme of which will be “Energy Partnership for Sustainable Development”, will be visited by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The delegation of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region*, will be headed by General Director Igor Makovskiy at the forum. The Head of the companies will take part in a plenary session, in the plenary discussion organized by PJSC Rosseti “Can’t you stop digital transformation: how to ensure the security of life-supporting infrastructure?”, in the All-Russian meeting “On the preparation of the electric power industry for work in the autumn-winter period 2019-2020” and in a number of other most significant events of the REW-2019. In addition, Igor Makovskiy on the sidelines of the forum will hold a series of working meetings with leaders of regions of opertions of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, during which the parties will discuss the prospects for the development of the electric grid complex of these territories and the implementation of the draft Concepts of digital transformation. Also, within the framework of the REW-2019, representatives of the management of the energy companies will take part in round tables, sessions and panel discussions.
The organizers of the Russian Energy Week Forum are the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Moscow Government. This year, over 70 business events will be held as part of its official program.
