Projects of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region were among winners of the regional stages of the All-Russian contest “MediaTEK-2019”

9 projects of branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region were awarded by the jury of the regional stages of the All-Russian contest of media, press services of companies of the fuel and energy complex and regional administrations, which is supported by the Russian Ministry of Energy.

The project of Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo “Digital Transformation of Grids: Step into Tomorrow” took the 1st place in the nomination “Modern Production and Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex”. The project accumulates a set of media tools aimed at introducing target audiences to the new principles of energy management in the region, the formation in society of the concept of digitalization of grids as a solid high-tech platform for building the digital economy of the region. It is based on visual products made in various techniques and aimed both at introducing target audiences to the main areas of digitalization and at training the company’s personnel. An important component of the project is holding of public events dedicated to the presentation of digital transformation. Within the framework of the project, Belgorod power engineers created 12 different video products, including 3D tours and videos aimed at demonstrating the capabilities of digital facilities and staff training, organized exhibition displays telling about the digital transformation of the Belgorod region’s grids, and developed a variety of printing materials, in particular, digital brochures of the 35 kV substation “Nikolskoye” and a unique power line pole in the form of the coat of arms of Belgorod, a book for children “Energy Saver in the Digital City”. The regional children’s thematic contest “Energy and Man” was initiated.

A joint project of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” and the regional printed mass media of the Kursk region “LIGHT PEOPLE” was awarded the diploma of the Kursk Region Administration. The project is aimed at popularizing professions of the fuel and energy sector, creating a positive image of workers in the energy industry, increasing the prestige of the branch, attracting the attention of young people to the professions relevant to the energy industry and the economy of the region.

The branch “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo” presented the project #EnergyEvolution at Mediatek. Within the framework of the project, a series of publications was prepared that told about the fulfillment of today’s production tasks through the history of the region’s energy development: the first twenty-kilogram electricity meters are now being transformed into a smart metering system, pins in places of power outages on wall cards have become an automatic warning system. Thanks to the media project #EnergyEvolution, residents of the Lipetsk region learned that for the opportunity to walk around the park lit by electric lights, at the beginning of the 20th century 10 kopecks had to be paid. Today, an economical energy lighting system is being installed in all cities and villages.

The comprehensive program for electrical safety among children and adolescents in the Yaroslavl region “Four Seasons of Electrical Safety” of the branch “Rosseti Centre Yarenergo” won the Fifth All-Russian contest of media, press services of companies of the fuel and energy complex and regional administrations MediaTEK in the nomination “Safe Energy” of the category “Press services of regional energy companies”.

The project “Four Seasons of Electrical Safety” is a set of events, social actions, contests, lessons, printing and video materials for children and adolescents on electrical safety, formed on a single principle and united by the general idea of ​​“seasonality”. Such an approach contributes to a better understanding and perception by children of the topic of electrical safety, helps differentiate the types of electricity dangers associatively during the seasons and to select ways to get out of possible dangerous situations that are relevant to a given season. The project has been implemented in the Yaroslavl region since 1 September 2018. During this time, it covered more than three thousand children and dozens of educational institutions in the region.

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the nomination “Safe Energy”, animated videos of the branch “Rosseti Centre and Volga Volga Nizhnovenergo” were recognized as one of the best - “Did the meter break down?” and “Are neighbours stealing electricity?”.

The project of the branch “Rosseti Centre and Volga Kalugaenergo” - “Digital “Sozvezdie” won the nomination “Modern Production and Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex”. A series of materials on the construction and opening of the 220 kV “Sozvezdie” digital substation was highly appreciated by the jury for the effective coverage of projects in the region related to the production activities of the fuel and energy complex, the implementation of new technologies, the construction and reconstruction of energy facilities.

The branch “Rosseti Centre and Volga Ryazanenergo” became the best in two categories at once. The project “Aleksei - the son of an angel” won the nomination “Popularization of professions of the fuel and energy complex”. As part of the project, Ryazanenergo’s employees installed a memorial plaque in memory of a former employee of the enterprise, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, and a participant in the only successful uprising in the history of World War II in the Sobibor concentration camp Aleksei Angelovich Weizen. The ceremonial event dedicated to the opening of the memorial received a wide public response, and a series of publications in the regional media was devoted to the life story of Aleksei Weizen.

Another project of the branch “Energy for Life” became the winner in the nomination “Social and Environmental Initiative”. Ryazan power engineers organized an action in support of the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #TOGETHERBRIGHTER as part of a large-scale citywide holiday. More than 3,000 residents of Ryazan were able to join the principles of conservation of natural resources by participating in quizzes on energy saving, receiving thematic souvenirs and memos.
