The branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo”* fully equipped office vehicles with satellite monitoring and control systems. Work on their installation was carried out as part of the concept of digital transformation, implemented by Rosseti’s Group of Companies.
More than 950 units of office and special vehicles of the Voronezhenergo branch are included into a single system based on GLONASS/GPS, as a result of which operators have the opportunity to monitor the operation of all the vehicles of the branch online, visually monitor the location and movement of repair and maintenance crews on electronic maps, and if necessary - allocate additional resources to strengthen them.
The use of modern satellite navigation and monitoring systems will allow to effectively manage the forces and means of the company in the face of possible technological disruptions when passing the autumn-winter maximum loads, increase the efficiency of decision-making and restoration work, and improving the logistics of movement and working hours of special vehicles will achieve a positive economic effect: reduction of the cost of fuels and lubricants, increase of the profitability of use of the vehicles.
