Based on the results of the publication of the unaudited consolidated interim condensed financial statements for 1H 2019 under IFRS, Rosseti Centre’s management held a conference call with representatives of the investment community to webcast a presentation dedicated to the performance results of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region for 6 months of 2019. Rosseti Centre at the event was represented by Acting Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance Artem Aleshin, Chief Accountant - Head of Financial and Tax Accounting and Reporting Department Lyudmila Sklyarova, and Head of IR Division Sergey Ternikov. The main topics for discussion were financial and production results for 6 months of 2019 and key factors that had the greatest impact on the companies’ performance. The consolidated financial statements for 1H 2019 under IFRS of two companies were presented and comments were given on the analysis of changes in the main articles of the statement of profit and loss and other comprehensive income, as well as answers to questions of participants of the audio webcast were given.
During the meeting, Artem Aleshin noted that the companies continue to work actively to improve the efficiency and reliability of the electric grid complex in the regions of operations. It was especially noted that with the continued growth of production assets of both companies, a decrease in the number of technological violations, the specific failure rate and level of electricity losses was achieved. The companies are intensively engaged in issues of optimizing the costs of servicing the loan portfolio and reducing controlled operating expenses. The main activities on digital transformation were announced, which should become the main driver for improving operational performance, increasing the reliability of electricity transmission and the appearance of additional economic effect.
“The company’s management takes all necessary measures to fulfill the key performance indicators set for it in the current year and confirms its openness for discussion with the investment community of any issues of operating and financial activities,” emphasized Artem Aleshin.
