The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation summed up the results of the All-Russian competition “Russian organization of high social efficiency”. IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division took the third place in the nomination “For the Formation of a Healthy Lifestyle in Organizations of the Production Sphere”.
The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the competition was held today at the Government House of the Russian Federation. The awards were presented by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Maxim Topilin, Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia Mikhail Shmakov, and President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin.
In 2018, more than 2,000 organizations participated in the competition in 16 nominations. To participate in the federal stage, the Ministry of Labour received 384 applications from regional stage winners from 52 regions of the country. Among the best were 58 enterprises and organizations, including the Belgorod branch of the company, which presented its achievements in the field of supporting the healthy lifestyle of employees.
In accordance with the policy of IDGC of Centre in the field of occupational health and safety, Belgorodenergo successfully operates five programs on organizing physical education and sports classes, preventing diseases and promoting healthy lifestyles. It developed and implemented measures to train staff in methods and technologies of health preservation and psycho-emotional regulation, the formation of stress tolerance. Every month, employees participate in the Days of Occupational Safety, Days of Psychological Health, classes for prevention of socially significant diseases, regularly undergo periodic medical examinations and fluorography, as well as diagnostic and rehabilitation sessions at the base of the Medical and Psychological Centre (MPC), specially created at Belgorodenergo. In 2017, 1,026 employees were covered with such sessions, 785 people took part in trainings based on psychological relief methods, 3,212 received consultations. According to statistics, out of 12,756 visits to the MPC, only 2,833 were caused by an appeal due to illness, which is 22.2%. The rest are related to prevention.
Belgorodenergo has a program to preserve the physical and mental health of the employees’ children, which gives them the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive consultative and diagnostic examination at medical facilities of the regional centre, and, if necessary, treatment. In 2017, more than 400 children of the branch’s employees were examined.
The program “Healthy lifestyle is a pledge of a long and happy life” ensures the participation of power engineers in various sports and recreational events: sports and athletics events, sports tournaments, festivals for the GTO standards.
The All-Russian Competition “Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency” has been held annually since 2000. The goal of the competition is to present to the public the experience of Russian organizations that have achieved high efficiency in solving social problems, and to promote the development of forms of social partnership in organizations. The winners of the regional stage are nominated for participation in the competition at the federal level.
