Igor Makovskiy: “The Vladimir region may become one of the pilot ones, where an innovative project on development of the power system using digital technologies will be implemented”

A working meeting was held in Vladimir between Governor of the region Vladimir Sipyagin and General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy. Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, Director of the branch “Vladimirenergo” Roman Sorokin, Acting First Deputy Head of the region for infrastructure development, utilities and energy Alexander Bayer and Director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Regional Administration Ilya Potapov also took part in the meeting.

Governor noted the large-scale activities of the power engineers in the Vladimir branch of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region to increase the reliability of operation of electric distribution grids in all districts of the Vladimir region.

“Now I am setting an ambitious task for all industries - to bring the Vladimir region to high economic indicators. That is why the requirements for specialists in each area are increasing. I put professionalism and ability to work at a very fast pace at the forefront. We must tirelessly move forward. Including in the energy sector,” Vladimir Sipyagin is sure. “It is necessary to modernize the electric grids and commission additional capacities - for needs and requirements of the business, investors and, of course, residents of our region.”

In turn, Igor Makovskiy told Governor about the company’s plans for the development of the electric grid infrastructure of the Vladimir region using digital technologies. “Modernization will increase the efficiency of the power grid complex, will reduce costs and, as a result, bring the reliability and quality of power supply to regional consumers to a new level. The Vladimir region can become one of the pilot ones where this innovative project will be implemented,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness for long-term cooperation in creating favourable conditions for further socio-economic development of the Vladimir region, improving the investment climate in the region, developing the business, providing comfort and convenience for residents of the region.
