Igor Makovskiy: Our main task is the effective implementation of new digital solutions aimed at improving the quality and reliability of power supply for residents of the Yaroslavl region

During his visit to the branch “Yarenergo”, General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy checked the operation of the regional power grid complex and assessed the prospects for its development.

The head of the company visited the substations “TRK”, “Novoselki” and “Severnaya”. The 110/10-10 kV substation “Novoselki” is one of the most advanced in the region, in 2013 it provided electricity to a new district of the Yaroslavl industrial park. The substation "Severnaya", put into operation in the late 30s of the last century, feeds two central districts of the regional centre.

General Director visited the Grid Control Centre of the branch, from which the operational management of the electric grid complex of the Yaroslavl region is carried out.

In Yaroslavlsky Distribution Zone and Distribution Zone of the 1st Category “Yargorelectroset”, the head of IDGC of Centre got acquainted with the working conditions of power engineers and made a number of proposals to improve the quality of communication between dispatch centres and mobile crews.

At a meeting with the branch’s management and chiefs of Distribution Zones, Igor Makovskiy informed about the long-term prospects for development of the regional power grid complex and outlined the main plans for the near future. “The assessment of our activity depends on the quality and success of our work. Our main task for the future is to prevent power outages,” General Director stressed.

Igor Makovskiy also spoke about the project to create in the Yaroslavl region districts of priority implementation of digital technologies and innovative developments of IDGC of Centre. Such districts will be Yaroslavsky, Tutaevsky and Nekrasovsky. On their basis it is planned to create two digital Distribution Zones. In the future, these districts of advanced development will become a model for the rest of the territory of the branch.
