A working meeting of Governor of the Orel region Andrey Klychkov and General Director of IDGC of Centre Igor Makovskiy was held in Orel. The head of the power company confirmed to the head of the region the readiness of the regional electric grid complex for the heating season and spoke about the prospects for its further development.
General Director discussed with the head of the region innovative solutions in the field of reconstruction of power grid facilities, which will raise the reliability of the branch’s grids to a higher level. In turn, Andrey Klychkov thanked the head of the company for the systematic work on improving the quality of power supply to consumers in the Orel region and showed readiness to support initiatives proposed by IDGC of Centre at the regional level.
“The Orel region has been cooperating constructively with IDGC of Centre for many years. Within the framework of this cooperation, we plan to implement a number of important investment projects. And, of course, we hope to continue cooperation with the company,” stressed Governor Andrey Klychkov.
The meeting also addressed the issue of creating on the basis of the Orel branch of IDGC of Centre the unified Grid Control Centre, which will improve the manageability of the region’s power grid infrastructure. In addition, the problem of consolidation of uncontrolled grid facilities that threaten the reliability of energy supply to consumers of the Orel region was touched upon.
“The government of the Orel region pays special attention to power engineers,” noted Igor Makovskiy. “Our main goal is to ensure uninterrupted quality power supply to Orel consumers,” he stressed at the end of the meeting.
