IDGC of Centre – Yarenergo division joined the All-Russian Energy Saving Festival #VmesteYarche.
As part of the festival in the Yaroslavl region the branch "Yarenergo" on 15 September held an action on distribution of energy-saving lamps in Yaroslavl in the shopping and recreation centre "Aura". Those who wished could get modern energy-saving lamps by exchanging them for old incandescent lamps or by placing in social networks posts with the hashtag #VmesteYarche A total of about 240 old incandescent lamps were replaced by energy-saving lamps in the campaign.
Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division Alexander Pavlov took part in the solemn ceremony of awarding winners of the annual regional contest of creative works on energy saving "Our warm house - 2017", the partner of which was Yarenergo. In the contest there were more than 750 works from 24 regions of Russia. The branch "Yarenergo" awarded with valuable prizes and gifts winners in the most senior categories: 15-18 years of age, 18 years of age and older.
Also, the head of the Yaroslavl branch of IDGC of Centre Anton Gerasimov took part in the meeting held in the Government of the region at signature by leaders of the region and energy companies of personal declarations and petitions in the field of energy conservation on intentions of careful attitude to energy at home and at work.
"Informing citizens on issues of energy conservation and the formation of a culture of rational energy use is relevant in modern society. The branch "Yarenergo" supports the development of energy-saving technologies and seeks to popularize them. Through various creative competitions, classes in schools, children’s camps and other educational institutions, which are carried out by our specialists in the field of energy efficiency, we are trying to convey to the population, first of all to children, the basic principles of energy conservation and convince them to efficiently consume energy resources," said Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Yarenergo division director Alexander Gerasimov.
