A meeting of heads of the HR unit of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region was held in Kostroma. Its participants discussed staffing issues before the autumn-winter period of 2017/2018 and development of the personnel reserve. In particular, it was about attracting prospective specialists in the company and creating effective motivation tools for experienced workers.
The event was opened by Deputy General Director for HR Management and Organizational Design of IDGC of Centre Inna Gromova. In her speech, she touched upon the topical issues of creating an effective personnel reserve in key positions in Distribution Zones and the staffing of branches of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region with specialists of the technical unit.
Speaking next First Deputy General Director-Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin, who discussed the topic of forming the personnel reserve to fill the position "Chief of a Distribution Zone", formulated the main criteria that applicants must meet: professional competence, legal literacy, ability to stand for effective relations with representatives of local authorities. Teachers for the personnel reserve should be experienced managers of Distribution Zones, Alexander Pilyugin stressed.
Intracorporate PR plays an important role in forming the personnel reserve and increasing the prestige of the profession of the chief of the Distribution Zone. It acts as a way to maintain constructive relationships between the company and its employees - a report on this topic was made by the head of the public relations department of IDGC of Centre Evgeniya Fisenko.
The participants of the meeting took part in the training seminar, during which they worked out the methods of recruitment, interviewing, formation of motivation tools. And then they had a tour in the Multifunctional Applied Qualifications Centre and visited the presentation platform of the regional educational cluster "Energetika" in the Kostroma Energy Technical College named after F.V. Chizhov. Summarizing the results of the event, they noted its usefulness from the point of view of the possibility of sharing experiences and working together to develop targets for effective solution of urgent tasks in the sphere of personnel policy (in particular, the communication of the heads of training centres of IDGC of Centre and IDGC Centre and Volga Region, who attended the event, was extremely productive), and expressed their wish to make such meetings regular.
