IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division summed up the results of the contest for the best landscaping of premises of a Distribution Zone, which was carried out as part of IDGC of Centre’s project "Green Distribution Zone", timed to the Year of Ecology in Russia. All 27 districts of Bryanskenergo’s Distribution Zones became its participants.
Under the terms of the contest, they were asked to aesthetically design, improve the landscaping of the territory of the Distribution Zone. The commission, which included employees of the technical unit, HR department, representatives of the trade union committee of Bryanskenergo evaluated the work carried out based on the quality and creativity of the design idea, the scope of the area covered by the project.
The contest was held in two stages. At the first stage the commission, on the basis of the submitted photo report on the work carried out, selected five Distribution Zones - "semi-finalists". After visiting them during the second stage and personally assessing the work done, they determined the three winners: Brasovsky, Vygonichsky and Starodubsky Distribution Zones. These subdivisions will be awarded memorable prizes.
The program "Green Distribution Zone" has been implemented by IDGC of Centre since the spring of 2017 to draw attention to problems related to the environment and the implementation of environmental measures in the regions where the company operates. Along with traditional actions (planting trees, clean-up events), it includes landscaping and greening of Distribution Zone territories, sponsored memorials of the Great Patriotic War and "Alleys of Power Engineers" planted by IDGC of Centre’s employees.
