IDGC of Centre to take part in the forum "Russian Energy Week"

IDGC of Centre will take part in the international forum on energy efficiency and energy development "Russian Energy Week". As part of the exposition of PJSC "Rosseti", IDGC of Centre will present the research development "Operating and maintenance staff simulator based on virtual reality models of a transformer substation". The virtual simulator is designed for safe and effective training of professional skills of operating personnel when switching at 35-110 kV substations. The R&D is a joint development of IDGC of Centre and Moscow Power Engineering Institute.

Also, the forum "Russian Energy Week" will sum up the results of the contest "MediaTEK-2017". The projects of three branches of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo, Kurskenergo and Yarenergo - were among the winners of the regional stage of the third All-Russian media competition, press services of the companies of the fuel and energy complex and regional administrations "MediaTEK-2017". Belgorod representatives with the project "Safety Alphabet" and Yaroslavl representatives with the art project "Prevention of third-party electric traumatism through artistic design of power facilities" became winners in the competitive nomination "Safe Energy". Kursk representatives with the project "Power engineer - sounds proud!" took priority in the nomination "Promotion of the profession of the fuel and energy complex". The victory in the regional stages gave the power engineers the opportunity to participate in the decisive, federal stage of the contest, where IDGC of Centre already presents two projects - "Green Distribution Zone" (nomination "Social and Environmental Initiative") and "Corporate publication: qualitative information, relevance, involvement, motivation" (nomination "The best corporate media"). The finalists will be evaluated by an expert council.

The International Energy Efficiency and Energy Development Forum "Russian Energy Week" will be held in Moscow from 3 to 7 October 2017 in accordance with the Russian Federation Government Resolution No. 2026-r of 27 September 2016.

The purpose of the Forum is to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy complex and realize the potential of international cooperation in the energy sector. The forum will become a platform for discussing the main challenges facing the energy sector of the economy and the current development challenges: the gas industry, the oil industry, the coal industry, petrochemicals, electricity, energy conservation and energy efficiency.

The predecessor of the Russian Energy Week is the international forum on energy efficiency and development of energy ENES, dedicated to energy saving and implementation of energy efficient technologies. From 2012 to 2016, five forums were held, with participants from representatives of key manufacturing companies and sectoral state organizations.
