Thieves of electrical equipment de-energized a village in the Bryansk region

4 April 2017

Last Sunday, a power outage occurred in the village of Litovniki in Zhiryatinsky district of the Bryansk region. After calls of residents of the settlement to IDGC of Centre – Bryanskenergo division, an emergency repair crew of the enterprise arrived there quickly. Power engineers found that the reason for the interruption was actions of intruders, who without authorization broke into the package transformer substation feeding the village and stole elements of the power transformer equipment. In the shortest possible time they replaced the transformer and returned electricity to the houses of the villagers.
