Director General of PJSC "Rosseti" Oleg Budargin paid a working visit to the Tver region. During the visit the head of "Rosseti" took part in a meeting on long-term development of electric grid facilities of the region under the chairmanship of Acting Tver Region Governor Igor Rudenya. General Director of IDGC of Centre Oleg Isaev and CEO of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom" Andrey Petrov also took part in the meeting.

The meeting’s participants noted the achievements of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division on the results of 2015: a decrease by 21% of failure rate and a reduction by 16% of average duration of power supply interruptions relative to 2014, elimination of the backlog for execution of contracts of connection of consumers to electric grids and reduction of the cost of this service by 19% compared to 2014 year.

Igor Rudenya noted the effective work of power engineers on connection of consumers to the grid. Over the past year their number grew up significantly. According to Director General of PJSC "Rosseti" Oleg Budargin, the company revised commitments to grid connection. They are reviewing the issue of reduction of terms of connection of new customers as well.

The head of Rosseti also stressed the particular importance of continuing the process of consolidation of the region’s electric grid facilities, which will increase the reliability of electricity supply by a single technological approach to grid management and one responsibility centre, as well as the availability of grid connection.

The parties appreciated the high potential of the Tver region in implementing new large-scale investment projects in the electricity sector, and discussed possible mechanisms of their financing sources. The meeting decided to study the issue of creating a collegial working body for the management of regional infrastructure development, responsible for long-term development, including the creation of sources of financing to implement new infrastructure projects and transparent pricing on grid connection services, their timely and full payment.

Oleg Budargin also raised the issue of financial stability of power grid companies, noting that, given the plans of Rosseti to modernize the grid infrastructure, it is necessary to comply with the payment discipline, one hundred percent payment for consumed electricity should be achieved.

Special attention was paid to the creation of the Single Settlement Centre, which will allow to improve the system of payment for housing and communal services by residents of the region.

"The Single Centre will work with the population. The account will be created in Sberbank of Russia. IDGC of Centre, Energoatom and all the companies that operate in our territory will join the work," commented the head of the region.

The Tver region is among the regions with the strategically important energy resources, including nuclear power stations, transmission power lines, and developed distribution grids. By July 1 the strategy of development of the energy complex of the region is to be formed with the horizon until 2025 - this is the task set by Igor Rudenya. We will actively involve energy sector companies in this work.

The participants of the meeting decided to bring to the Russian Federation Government the issue of providing targeted subsidies for grid connection to privileged categories of consumers in the region in 2016-2017.

The head of "Rosseti" thanked the governor for his attention to the development of the electric grid facilities of the Tver region.

During the visit Oleg Budargin also visited the Grid Control Centre (GCC) of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre, where he heard a report on the operational situation in the grids of Tverenergo. The structural unit fully performs functions of control of 6-110 kV power lines, equipment and devices of relay protection and automation of power grid facilities of the Tver region. Created in 2008, the GCC continues to be the most modern and high-tech dispatch control service in the region.

Here, on the territory of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division Oleg Budargin evaluated the readiness of first responding and restoration crews for emergency situations while restoring interrupted power supply. Tverenergo created 43 first responding and repair crews, as well as 13 crews of increased mobility, who are ready at any time for emergency response to go to electric grid facilities of the Tver region, as well as any other Russian region. It is worth noting that the increased mobility crews are provided with all-terrain vehicles and dry rations.

The final stage in the agenda of the working visit to the Tver region was a meeting at which, including, the issues of debt receivables of sales companies and large consumers to IDGC of Centre, and in particular, "Tverenergo" were discussed.

Please, be reminded that IDGC of Centre is implementing a range of activities to repay debt, both in cooperation with heads of the regions of its service area, with use of the potential of created on the initiative of PJSC "Rosseti" commissions to monitor payments to power companies, and in the framework of consistently performed claim-related work.
