As deputy head of distribution networks of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division Vladimir Tyrnov comments: - "The road to the peninsula of Crimea was simple. WE arrived at the Kerch Strait on time, successfully crossed the peninsula and almost immediately set to work. The main task put to us was to supply electricity to schools in Saksky, Simferopolsky and Oktyabrsky districts of the republic of Crimea. Now all the redundant power supply sources, brought by us, have already been installed and are used when needed. First, the electricity supply situation was difficult, rotating outages also affected cellular towers, so there were problems with communication. However, installed in our vehicles radio sets helped us be constantly in touch with the Crimean colleagues. Now, with switching on the first phase of an energy bridge, the situation has improved significantly. Locals enthusiastically perceive our arrival in all districts wherever we have arrived. They rejoice, shake hands firmly, sincerely say "thank you". This is both the elderly and young people. Though schoolchildren probably are a bit angry with us - if we had not arrived, the school would have remained without electricity, and they would have stayed home on vacation (he laughs)."

Please, be reminded that on the night of 21 to 22 November as a result of undermining the poles of power lines in the Kherson region, the Crimea was disconnected from the power system of Ukraine. Currently, the power system of the peninsula runs in an isolated mode, rotating outages apply for saving. Social facilities are connected to independent power supply sources.
