Administration of the Smolensk region noted coordinated and professional work of power engineers of IDGC of Centre on the Single Voting Day

Head of the Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovsky thanked General Director of IDGC of Centre, PJSC Oleg Isaev and staff of the company to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the polling stations in the Smolensk region on the Single Voting Day September 13, 2015.

As noted in the letter of gratitude, coordinated and professional work of power engineers of IDGC of Centre on the Single Voting Day allowed to hold the elections in the Smolensk region at a high organizational level and with no power outages.

In the Smolensk region on the Single Voting Day on 13 September IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division provided uninterrupted power supply to 801 polling stations. During this period in the service area of the branch the control over the work of the electric grid facilities was enhanced, the duty of about 300 operating and maintenance personnel was organized, and measures were carried out to ensure the unconditional readiness for first responding and restoration operations.
