"I am a cautious user of energy": IDGC of Centre made the start of a new photo contest

IDGC of Centre announces a photo contest "I am a cautious user of energy" for schoolchildren from 11 regions of the Central Federal District, which is open to everyone from 7 to 17 years of age. Works will be accepted until 30 October, inclusive, to the email address of the press-service@mrsk-1.ru.

Filling in an application, attaching to it a bright and emotional picture with the image of a rational way of energy conservation with an appropriate commentary on it - all you need to participate in this extraordinary project. Participants are encouraged to photograph the most effective ways to save energy, successfully working at home, school, clinic, shopping centre or any other location. It is necessary to apply a small text comment to the snapshot.

To make competition works brighter and more interesting, it is permitted to involve classmates, friends, parents and other relatives. Each participant can submit for the contest no more than two shots. Authors of the most creative projects will receive diplomas of winners and gifts.

Also, all photos will be placed in the same name album of the group "Energolandiya" in the social network Vkontakte vk.com/zdesbezopasno, where from 19 to 30 October online voting for the best photo with the most effective way to save energy will be held. The winner will receive the audience award and a special diploma.

Attention: photos without explaining comments and pictures or collages, adjusted in a photo editor, are not allowed for participation in the competition. The main objective of the project "I am a cautious user of energy" is the initiation of children and their parents to the energy-saving way of life: increased energy consumption culture, respect to energy resources and the energy of the future in general.

Terms and Conditions of the Photo Contest "I am a cautious user of energy":

• The competition is open to children of school age from 7 to 17 years old.
• The contestant (or one parent) must be a subscriber of the group "Energolandiya" in the social network Vkontakte https://vk.com/zdesbezopasno.
• To participate in the contest photos with a resolution of at least 300 dpi and a maximum size of 8 MB will be accepted.
• self-portrait photographs are allowed to participate in the competition, if they do not contradict the terms and conditions of the contest "I am a cautious user of energy".
• Photos with the use of any photo editors, and various collages, will not take part in the competition.
• Photos with no accompanying commentary are not allowed to participate in the competition.
• Comments without photo images are not allowed to participate in the competition either.
• Comments to the photo must develop the history of the image, contain the rules of energy saving and conceptual author’s idea. Comments for the image can be composed from 3 to 10 sentences, but not more than 10.
• Photographs may depict third party persons who help the author to develop the topic and have issued a written consent to the author for public use of shots for the contest.
• Each participant must submit no more than two photographs with comments.
• Children of primary school age are allowed to have assistance of parents explaining the theme of energy conservation, preparation of comment and use of photographic equipment.
• To participate in the contest, you are to fill out a questionnaire (Appendix № 1) and attach it to photographic works.
• Photographic works with the accompanying comments and questionnaire should be sent to the email address of the press-service@mrsk-1.ru from 21 September to 30 October 2015.

Works for the contest will be accepted until 30October 2015 inclusive.

Participants will learn the results of the competition and the date of the awards ceremony from the news in the group "Energolandiya". Contest winners will be additionally informed by e-mail.

Appendix to the contest
