IDGC of Centre and OJSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" agreed on the terms of contracts for electricity transmission in the Tver region

IDGC of Centre and OJSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" came to an agreement on the terms of service agreements for the transmission of electric energy in order to ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers of the Tver region.

In accordance with Order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia from March 19, 2014 №116, starting from April 1, 2014 the status of a supplier of last resort in the administrative boundaries of the Tver region was assigned to OJSC "AtomEnergoSbyt".

The current legislation imposes on a supplier of last resort an obligation to normalize relations with a grid company in order to ensure the fulfillment of obligations to consumers.

Since the parties failed to reach agreement under a pre-action protocol on all essential terms of service contracts for electricity transmission, OJSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" appealed to the Arbitration Court with a claim on the settlement of the terms of contracts.

At the stage of preparation of cases for consideration by the court IDGC of Centre and OJSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" came to an agreement on the terms of service agreements for the transmission of electric energy in order to ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers of the Tver region.

The agreement on the terms of the contracts was made ​​possible thanks to the constructive cooperation between the parties in the course of the negotiations. The terms of the contracts were agreed upon by the parties in the text of settlement agreements, approved by the Arbitration Court of the city of Moscow.
