The All-Russian competition of completed projects in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency of the ENES is held by the Russian Ministry of Energy to form a base of successful projects for the dissemination of good practices in all regions of the country. One such project is the "Energy Efficiency Centre", which operates at IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division. Its goal is to help residents of the region understand the issues of practical application of energy saving technologies, through examples and simple calculations to convince consumers to optimize their energy consumption.

All existing today ways to save energy and patterns of energy saving technologies and materials are presented at the Energy Efficiency Centre in an accessible and understandable form. All exhibits can not only be seen, but it is also possible to understand how they work in domestic and industrial environments. The exposure is interactive and based on the principle of "evolution of technology" - from legacy to new. Exhibition stands are equipped with touch-panels, where you can find all the necessary information, analysis and expected effects. Here you can find much information about the devices of yesterday, today and tomorrow. At stands there are samples of electric power meters of a new generation, including multi-rate ones, infrared heating equipment, energy saving lamps, containing information about energy-efficient appliances and alternative energy sources, etc.

In the centre of the exhibition there is a layout of the city of Belgorod, which shows elements of a "smart grid", responsible for the reliability of power supply to customers. The model clearly demonstrates the presence and interaction of all components, from power plants and substations, and ending with intelligent grid equipment: reclosers, boosters, pole-mounted transformer substations, automated outdoor lighting networks and other elements that ensure the reliability and quality of electricity supply to consumers.

The Government of the Belgorod region believes that the realized winning projects of the All-Russian competition will help develop the best solutions in the application of energy-saving technologies and equipment in various industries and households.
