A working meeting between Acting Governor of the Tula Region, Dmitry Milyaev, and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, Igor Makovskiy, took place in Tula. During the meeting, issues of development of the region’s electric grid complex, prospects for construction of a new energy centre in the Novaya Tula microdistrict, and preparations for the heating season were discussed.
Igor Makovskiy emphasized that power engineers are implementing a set of measures to prepare for the heating season: in 2024, about 415 km of power lines, 154 MVA of transformer capacity will be reconstructed and built in the Tula region, it is planned to clear 1.3 thousand hectares of routes and overhaul 146 km of lines. The energy company’s work priorities also include modernization and development of the electric grid infrastructure, increasing the reliability of grids aimed at ensuring sustainable development of the region.
Dmitry Milyaev noted that Rosseti Centre and Volga region is the most important link in the life support of the region, the development of various spheres of its life, including attracting investments. The government of the Tula region is interested in the stable and efficient operation of the Tulenergo branch.
“Along with fulfilling our main task of ensuring reliable power supply, we are implementing projects aimed at modernizing and constructing new energy facilities. I am confident that our cooperation will allow us to continue achieving high results in solving problems of ensuring the comfort and coziness of the region’s residents, improving the investment climate for business development”, said Igor Makovskiy.
