IDGC of Centre has been highly appreciated for the implementation of the program of grid connection in the Voronezh region

The high quality of the grid connection program implementation in the Voronezh region allowed the region to take the fifth place in the All-Russian ranking of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation on limiting the number of steps required for the grid connection, which was published in the report of the Ministry of Regional Development «On the evaluation of the effectiveness of the executive authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation following the results of 2012».

«This indicator demonstrates the ease of doing business in the region,» underlines the head of the regional Office of Housing and Energy of the Voronezh region Vadim Kstenin. «Continuous improvement of the mechanism and procedures for grid connection by Voronezhenergo, joint work in this field of power engineers and the Voronezh region authorities contributes to the development of energy infrastructure, develops business initiatives, and improves the investment climate in the region.»

For the first six months of 2013 IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division provided about 90 % of all grid connections in the region. The power engineers completed 2,600 grid connection contracts with a total capacity of 70.8 MW from 3.5 thousand applications for grid connection received with its capacity of 325 MW, which exceeds that of the 2012 capacity by 72.6%.

As part of the «road map» implementation «Improving access to energy infrastructure», approved by Resolution of the Government # 1144 of June 30, 2012, and in order to reduce connection time and increase transparency in 2013 the company is implementing a new scheme for the grid connection procedure, in which the interaction of the customer with the company will be reduced to 5 steps, for preferential customers — down to 3 stages of interaction.

The company has also implemented a number of points of the «road map» on increased customer focus. Currently, IDGC of Centre offers customers a comprehensive service «turnkey grid connection» and performs all activities related to the competence of customers in the grid connection implementation, thereby eliminating middlemen and improving the quality of work performed.
