IDGC of Centre has begun construction of a new substation in the Kursk region

In Sovetsky district of the Kursk region the construction of the 35/10 kV substation «Mansurovo» has begun. Investment in the project will amount to more than 36 million rubles. This is one of the key and significant projects in the investment program of IDGC of Centre. The new feeding centre will allow to optimize the supply circuit of the existing customers, to create a reserve of power for dynamically developing agricultural production in the eastern part of the Kursk region.

There are already laid foundations for a transformer and equipment, YTS-80 communications bays have been installed, a lighting tower, a line and a lightning rod portal have been installed. In the near future our specialists will install the main equipment of the substation: a power transformer of 6300 kVA, a 35 kV vacuum circuit breaker, as well as a block-modular building of 10 kV complete distribution device of external installation. As for the level of equipment the «Mansurovo» substation will be one of the most high-tech substations in the Kursk region, and by the end of 2013 will provide electricity to a few large facilities of «Agrocomplex Mansurovo».

The construction of the substation «Mansurovo» is being performed within the framework of the Agreement between IDGC of Centre and the authority of the Kursk region.
