IDGC of Centre has introduced high alert mode in connection with the passage of a cyclone

According to the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia, from November 29 to December 1 in the Central and North-Western Federal Districts worsening of weather conditions is expected in the form of wet snow, accompanied by high winds, and freezing rain is possible.

In this connection the Headquarters of the electric grid complex was convened. IDGC of Centre has introduced high alert mode to ensure the reliability of power supply. Staff of responsible managers and specialists of IDGC of Centre is on duty around the clock. Emergency repair crews in all Distribution Zones of subsidiaries of the company have been on duty around the clock. Standby power sources operation and availability was checked. For the period of high alert IDGC of Centre has established a special control over the work of power facilities, fire safety measures have been enhanced, and interaction has been set with territorial divisions of EMERCOM and executive bodies, enterprises of FGC UES, operating companies of IDGC Holding, and other territorial electric grid organizations.

The Contact Centre works in emergency mode: the number of operators on duty has been increased, including “in-home operators” who take calls around the clock via the single Direct Power Hot Line at 8-800-50-50-115.
