IDGC of Centre will host a competition of operators

December 12, 2011 the first in the history of IDGC of Centre Competition of Profession Skills of operational operators (operators) of the Company will start in Kursk. The competition, conducted in order to verify the readiness of operators to work in complicated grid operation mode conditions during peak loads, as well as to share best work experience, will be held at the training site of mobile crew staff of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division.

Within four days, from 12 to 15 December for the title of “best operators” teams of 11 divisions of IDGC of Centre will be competing. In six competitive stages the competitors will demonstrate their knowledge of working rules, regulations, legislation regarding operational and technological management, execution of routine switching with the use of the software “Modus”. The competition program also involves checking the knowledge and skills of operators to work in emergency situations. On the non-competitive stage mental and professional adaptation of the participants will be assessed.

The Chief Referee of the competition is Head of Technical Inspection Department of IDGC of Centre Oleg Rochagov. Colleagues from JSC Kubanenergo, Department of Operations and Technology Management of IDGC Holding and students of specialized higher education institutions of the Kursk region will be present at the competition of professional skills of operators, which are not only for the first time in IDGC of Centre, but also in IDGC Holding, to exchange experience.
