Kostroma Region Governor Sergey Sitnikov held a working meeting with Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC. The parties discussed the performance of the branch of Rosseti Centre - Kostromaenergo for 2025, its objectives for the current year, and implementation of investment projects.
It was noted that over the past year, the number of technological failures at power facilities in the Kostroma region has decreased by 5%, and the average duration of power outages has also been reduced by 5%. The power company has fully completed the repair program, allocating RUB 634 million for this purpose.
The meeting especially focused on the implementation of modern electricity metering systems, improving the security of energy facilities, and the prospects for transitioning to long-term tariff regulation based on a regulatory agreement with the Kostroma region. This instrument will improve the efficiency of grid infrastructure modernization, which is essential for the region’s socio-economic development.
“An important task for the region is the grid connection of land plots allocated to participants in the special military operation. This requires special attention and collaboration with regional power engineers,” said Sergey Sitnikov.
Boris Ebzeev noted that the company’s specialists, together with representatives of the Kostroma region, are ready to promptly consider possible grid connection solutions for each of the land plots.
“Last year, Kostromaenergo executed over 2,500 grid connection agreements with a total capacity of 48.4 MW, and social facilities were connected ahead of schedule. The company has invested over RUB 1.4 billion in the development of the region’s grid complex. “We plan to continue our systematic work aimed at increasing the sustainability of the Kostroma region’s energy infrastructure,” stressed Boris Ebzeev.
