Interim results of the preparation of the electric grid complex of 20 regions of Central Russia for the heating season were considered during an operational meeting chaired by Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC.
The companies are particularly monitoring the implementation of the Program for maintenance and repair of energy facilities. According to data for six months, power engineers have cleared 11.9 thousand hectares of routes along overhead power transmission lines (PTL), which is 125% of the plan. According to statistics, falling trees and branches caused by deteriorating weather conditions are the most common cause of technological disruptions, leading to short circuits and damage to PTLs.
Rostekhnadzor has completed inspections in all branches preceding the receipt of the Certificate of Readiness for the Heating Season, and the issued orders have been executed.
“It is important to comprehensively address the issues of preparation for winter. All key areas are in our focus: implementation of repair and investment programs, provision of the branches with qualified personnel and, of course, clearing the routes of overhead power lines as one of the main preventive measures aimed at increasing the reliability of power supply to consumers,” said Boris Ebzeev.
