The AK&M rating agency has assigned Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region the highest rating of non-financial reporting – RESG 1. This means that the reporting of the energy companies for 2024 is recognized as exemplary in terms of the completeness and transparency of disclosure of information on sustainable development.
According to the results of the assessment, both companies scored 100.4 points, which corresponds to the highest rating level (from 85 to 106.4 points) and exceeds last year’s result.
The main topic of Rosseti Centre’s report is “Big Data Energy”. The document details the company’s efforts in digital transformation, the introduction of intelligent technologies in production and management, ensuring the reliability of power supply, and the development of social and environmental responsibility.
Rosseti Centre and Volga region’s report contains comprehensive information on the production, social and environmental aspects of the company’s activities. This year, changes were made to the structure of the report, sections on industrial safety and labour protection were expanded, and all issues of digital transformation were combined into one section. An important place is given to the description and assessment of risks that can affect the activities of the electric grid complex.
The AK&M agency noted the presence of not only reporting data, but also planned benchmarks indicating the sustainability of the companies’ strategy as an important advantage of the documents.
“Confirmation of the highest ESG reporting rating is recognition of the systematic work of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region in the field of sustainable development. We understand our responsibility to residents and industrial enterprises of the regions and focus on digitalization, environmental friendliness and transparency. It is important not only to record the results achieved, but also to set a vector for the future, maintaining the sustainable development of the company and the energy industry as a whole,” stressed Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC.
Reference: The ESG reporting rating has been calculated by the AK&M agency since 2020. Its goal is to identify the best practices for disclosing information on the social and environmental activities of companies. The study evaluates 96 markers, including the completeness and availability of information.
